It is a windy day with a slight chance of rain here in Spring Hill, FL , Right now it is about 67 degrees with a High of 70. I’m so glad that Today is Friday I have not been sleeping very well this week and the weekend will give me a chance to catch up on some much needed rest. Had a some what stressful day yesterday , I got a notification that there was an alleged bomb threat at one of my kidlets school, It turned out to be a inert grenade that was hollowed out and most likely a souvenir that a young child brought in for show and tell and while this child had it in their possession apparently made some comments that the school found inappropriate , Though I’m glad the school took action , I wonder what kind of society do we live in that allows such actions. I get it that the kid wanted to bring in something cool for show and tell but what made this child say what they did ? I saw the picture and you can clearly tell that is was not active but per school policy they take things like this very serious which I’m happy about.

It is a balmy 68 here in Spring Hill, Florida with a high of 72 with a good chance of thunderstorms. Today I’m going to finish painting my sons dresser drawers which was painted a light blue and he chose a metallic gold color for his handles. My oldest kidlet painted her and her sisters room a Lilac Lace color for their bedroom yesterday, which looks so much better than the asylum white washed walls that showed all kinds of scuffs and such. The room looks so much calmer and soothing, As you can tell we had a busy weekend, Saturday we took the kidlets bowling and my Mother went with us ; which was nice to spend some time with her and the kids loved having their Gramma spend time with them too. So how was your weekend? Hope you all have a Blessed Week . ~Laura
It is a cloudy gray day here in Spring Hill, Florida. It rained so much last night that I thought I was going to have to start gathering animals 2×2 and build and Ark.. Well at least my grass does not look like a brown desert and my rose bushes got drunk with tasty rain water. I’m so excited for Christmas to come and see the smiles on my kids when they open their gifts on Christmas Day, And oh my goodness it will be time to splurge and indulge my self with food. We are having Ham and Marshmallow covered Sweet Potatoes and of course Herb Regular Potatoes and My favorite is the stuffing I could eat that all year long. I’m going to make a vegetable tray too that we can snack on until the feast is ready. So What are your plans for Christmas Dinner? Do you have any special traditions that you do each year ? well wishing you all a Blessed Day ~ Laura
Have you ever been so sleep deprived that you gave your furkid the wrong food ? I’m guilty of that I gave the feline furkid Merlin his 4 legged sister’s food she is a canine fur kid, Merlin meowed at me so much last night and I kept telling him to eat his food, It took me until this morning after coffee was poured into my veins that I realized what I had done. Sheesh. Well there are only 5 more days until Christmas and I have yet to wrap gifts. at this point I have no energy or any brain waves to want to function. My beloved has been so sick and me being the loving wife that I am I have been attending to his needs and managing the house hold and making sure that my kidlets are dressed and fed, They can fend for them selves but I still like to make sure that they have a nice dinner to eat. And I found out why my washer is leaking the hot water hose is corroded and has a pin hole in it , yep just add that to the long to do list. Well I want to wish you all a Blessed Day. ~ Laura
I can’t believe that there are only 8 more days until Christmas, My kidlets are on a countdown, This year they did not ask for much and I have most of their gifts just waiting on a few more to arrive in the mail or UPS. Then comes the fun part of wrapping them and disguise them so they have no clue as to what they are. I’m not one of those wrappers that add all the bells and whistles I do make them look as if they weren’t wrapped up by a monkey though,Although monkeys could probably wrap gifts better than I could. I have seen some fancy gift wrapping and I’m like these people either had it done by a professional or been watching too much Martha Stewart. Or just have the ability to make gift wrapping really really nice. Does it really matter , I mean in a matter of seconds or minutes all that time you took to make them look pretty will look like a tornado ripped through a trailer park. Anyways I’m excited too see the smiles and joy on the faces of my kidlets and that is all the joy that I need. So what kind of wrapping guru are you ? Please feel free to leave a comment . Well have a Blessed Day all ~ Laura
I had to take my middle child for an evaluation what fun that was, I felt I was the one being evaluated. What is it about seeing Psychologists and you get the feeling that they are mentally observing you. Anyhow My beloved Husband the Handy man is still in the hospital his glucose levels were extremely high and with the help of medication they have dropped to a safe level, so I’m hoping that he may be able to come home today. We are rarely apart from each other and I feel so lost with out him. We have really thick fog conditions here in Spring Hill, Florida and very hard to see the car lights in front of you. I don’t care to drive under such conditions but in order to take middle child to his appt I had too, a mother has to do what is needed to take care of her kidlets. Not much else going on here. So grab that coffee, tea, or Hot cocoa and seize the day ~ Laura
Had a early start, youngest kidlet has a sore throat and we had to travel 20 miles just for a freaking dentist appointment . That is life for you, could the place be local that takes our insurance ? Nope ! Oh well it is done and over with now. Sure is a cold day we have current temps in the 40’s and it is Hoodie and socks kind of day, I have about 20 new outlets that Husband the Handy man needs to put in good thing he is an electrician now getting him motivated to do it well we shall see, No need to remind him every 2 weeks .. Well wishing you all a Blessed Day, ~ Laura
It is a chilly wet day here in Spring Hill, Florida, My kidlet was wrapped up in a blanket as we were waiting for the bus, Yes it was chilly but not that much, Oh well she looked cute and adorable as ever. On a positive note I was chosen as a winner over at Bargain Hound Daily Deals for their contest in which a donation to a charity that I’m passionate about to receive a gift card , Which will be going to Asap Animal Clinic and Rescue They do such an amazing job to find dogs a furever home. So much dedication It makes my heart happy to know that they have such passion for animals. Well I hope you all have a Blessed Day, So Grab that Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate and have a marvelous Day ~ Laura
Welcome to another exciting day of nothing happening , It is a rainy day and my hopes of cleaning out the rest of the rain gutters of leaves and debris is just not going to happen unless the weather changes and the rain stops. Woke up to the sound of the Feline and Canine kids exchanging “words” I don’t know what all they said to each other but Merlin the cat sure had a lot to say and Lil Miss Ariel the Canine of Cuteness added her two cents, Merlin came in my room and pounced over Husband the Handy man and got in his face as to tattle on Ariel and to remind him that it was Food O’clock. I’m surprised that none of the human kids got up to see what all the commotion was. I’ve had my coffee and started the few last loads of what seems like the never ending laundry saga it seems as though I am done and more magically appears . Well I wish you all a Blessed Day ~ Laura
Grocery shopping done, Christmas shopping in the process, But we did however decorate the Christmas Tree, Which was done by my 10 year old daughter with the exception of the lights, the rest she did. She really loves the Christmas/Holiday season. I foresee a decorating career perhaps in her future. It is a partially cloudy day here in Spring Hill, Florida with a nice temperature of about 78. Wishing you all a Blessed Day ~ Laura
